Mooncow Fest!
Three days in a field on the South Downs. Created by MoonCows, but also you!

A weekend in a field, co-created.
Mooncow Fest is a communal festival (gathering?) of around 80–150 friends, friends-of-friends, and lovely strangers — pitched on a working farm in East Sussex. There are no headliners, no wristbands, no sponsors. Just people, fields, fire, music, food cooked together, and the occasional cow.
The event is co-created by the participants. Bring yourself, bring your ideas, your music, and anything you'd like to share — a workshop, a talk, a DJ set, food, anything!
We've been doing this since 2020. Each year is a little different. The shape comes from the people who show up.
What it looks like.
Cows, fields, fire, dancing, art, and the occasional naked trampoline. Swipe or tap the arrows.
Who's playing? TBD.
Mooncow doesn't book headliners — the lineup comes from whoever brings their decks, their tracks, or their voice. The 2026 schedule is still being written. Want to play? Mention it on the sign-up form and we'll get you a slot.
In the meantime, here's a taste of last year's sets — straight from the herd:
Rolling hills, a quiet farm, big skies.
We pitch up at Great Danegate Farm, near Eridge Green in East Sussex — about an hour by train from London Bridge to Tunbridge Wells, then a short hop. There's space to camp, a kitchen tent, a fire, a dance tent, and a lot of green.
Getting there by car, public transport, or carpool. We'll coordinate lifts in the run-up — let us know on the sign-up form if you'd like a seat, or have one to offer.
Three cow tiers. Pick what fits.
Mooncow runs on what people pitch in. We don't profit — fees cover the land, food, equipment, and the bits and pieces that make a field into a festival. Choose the tier that sits right with your budget.
No questions asked. Same festival, same welcome.
Covers your share of the weekend.
Helps us keep the lower tier open for others.
Bank details and payment info are shared once you've joined the herd.
